For Homecoming celebrations this year, William and Mary Rowing celebrated its first annual Battle of the Boathouse, a bracket-type race inviting alumni back to take on current rowers. Sophomores Ashley Koontz (left) and Charlotte Dobry (right) took gold and bronze in the Women's 1x event at the ACRA National Championship Regatta over the weekend of May 26-27! Thanks to everyone that came out to watch our first regatta of the season and to help us properly dedicate the Tack Family Boathouse. William & Mary had a strong showing in the morning, winning the Men's Varsity 8+, Women's Varsity 8+, Men's Novice 8+, Women's Novice 8+, Men's Varsity 4+ and Women's Novice 4+. Congrats to all those who won the various items of the raffle, including the naming rights to the Pocock 8+ and the three bays of the Boathouse.  Boathouse Update!!!

This past week has seen the team come back from winter break and hit their workouts with renewed vigor. We've posted our spring racing schedule, have opened up registration for this summer's William and Mary Rowing Camp, and couldn't be more excited for both of them. ALSO, we have added a Twitter Account for the team for you all to follow and learn about important regatta (and other updates!) @WMRowing. Onwards and upwards!

All results from this fall have been updated. We'd like to congratulate all William and Mary rowers, coxswains, coaches, and Parents (thank you for the food and support!) on a wonderful and succesful fall season. Now the team begins to turn its focus to indoor practices, as the gear up for spring racing begins.

This weekend the Women's Varsity 8+ is traveling to NoVa to race at the Occoquan Chase, while the Men's Varsity 8+ is tuning up for the Head of the Charles next weekend. The women's results will be posted post haste, and a few videos of the men practicing this morning are posted on the right.

William and Mary Rowing would like to welcome all William and Mary Rowing Parents to campus this weekend! We will be hosting parents at our rowing site on the Chickahominy River for a rowers/coach meet and greet from 8am-9am on Saturday morning, directly following our tuneup practice and trailer loading for Sunday's regatta in northern Virginia. For directions to our rowing site, visit the Chickahominy Riverfront Park website. Once inside the park, just follow the road for 1/2 mile until it ends, and you'll be there (note: if lost, open the window and try to smell the coffee and donuts we'll have waiting for you). We hope to see you all waterside!
